Check-in, check-out and your 24 hours
Check in from 11:00 AM, or whenever you arrive — late arrivals are normal here and there is no penalty for one. Your room is yours for a full 24 hours from the moment you check in. Arrive at 6:00 PM and the room is yours until 6:00 PM the next day. Early check-in is available subject to availability and is never charged on a direct booking. Late check-out beyond your 24-hour window is available and is charged.
Identification
We are happy to accept local identification from Bhubaneswar residents — you do not need to be travelling from out of town to stay here.
Children, infants and extra beds
Children up to years stay free when sharing with adults.
Meals
The Divine Bite Cafe is open from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM daily and Ozen Bar & Kitchen from 12:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Guests who book directly with the hotel receive 15% off food and beverages during their stay.
Parking
For events we can accommodate Parking and valet support is arranged as part of an event booking.
Pets
Please tell us when you book so we can allocate a suitable room, and keep pets with you rather than unattended in the room.
Events
Event dates are held only once the event team confirms them to you in writing. Menu, guest count, setup, taxes, deposit and cancellation terms are set out in your quotation. Final guest numbers are normally confirmed a few days before the event — your events manager will tell you the exact deadline for your booking.

What are the check-in and check-out times at Hotel Shubham Grand?

Does Hotel Shubham Grand accept local ID from Bhubaneswar residents?
Yes. We accept Aadhaar or a passport at check-in, and we accept local identification from Bhubaneswar residents. You do not need to be travelling from out of town to stay here, which is not the case at every hotel in the city.
Are pets allowed at Hotel Shubham Grand?
Yes, pets are welcome. Please tell us when you book so we can allocate a suitable room, and keep your pet with you rather than unattended in the room. There is no separate pet charge.
Is parking available at Hotel Shubham Grand?
Yes. Parking is free for guests, at one car per room. For events at The Silken Hall we can accommodate up to 50 vehicles including commercial vehicles, and valet support is arranged as part of an event booking.
Is breakfast included in the room rate?
Breakfast is charged separately at 200 rupees per person. Breakfast with lunch or dinner is 500 rupees per person. Guests who book directly with the hotel also receive 15% off food and beverages at The Divine Bite Cafe and Ozen Bar during their stay.
What do I get for booking direct rather than through a travel site?
Booking directly with the hotel gets you 10% off your room, 15% off food and drink during your stay, and free early check-in subject to availability. These apply all year and are not seasonal. They do not apply to bookings made through travel agents or online travel sites.
What is the cancellation policy at Hotel Shubham Grand?
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before check-in and you are refunded in full. Inside 24 hours, and for no-shows, the booking is non-refundable. Group bookings and hourly stays are arranged separately and those terms are confirmed in writing by the team.
Do children stay free, and what does an extra bed cost?
Children up to 2 years stay free. Children between 3 and 12 stay for an additional charge, and from 13 they are charged at adult rates. An extra mattress is ₹500 per person per night for a child or an adult, subject to availability.
Is Hotel Shubham Grand wheelchair accessible?
Yes. The property is accessible for guests using a wheelchair. Please tell us when you book so we can allocate a suitable room and have everything ready for your arrival.
Are unmarried couples allowed at Hotel Shubham Grand?
Yes. Unmarried couples are welcome with valid identification, and we accept local ID from Bhubaneswar residents. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Groups of male guests are also welcome.
Can I smoke in the room?
Smoking is permitted in guest rooms and at Ozen Bar & Kitchen. If you would prefer a room in which nobody has smoked, tell us when you book and we will allocate one for you.
